Pupil Success In ISA Midlands Art Competition
Huge congratulations to Alice and Leela who have been recognised in the Independent Schools Association’s (ISA) Midlands Art Competition.
Every year pupils across the school produce incredible artwork, and to celebrate their talent, this year, Mrs Thackway submitted some of the children’s artwork into the ISA Midlands Art Competition.
Alice, who is now in Year 3, was awarded first prize for her striking wax resist Fun In The Sea in the KS1 Art 2D Individual Class while Leela, who is now in Year 6, received a Highly Commended in the KS2B Art 2D Individual Class for her beautiful painting Still Life With Fruit.
It’s fantastic recognition for these talented youngsters and we congratulate them both on their success.
Alice’s work now goes forward to the ISA National Art Competition, that takes place in Kenilworth in November.
It was great to see Princethorpe College’s artists doing well in the competition too, with the College taking three firsts and a second place, a huge well done to them.
