More Excellent Results In LAMDA Examinations
All 21 pupils who took LAMDA examinations at the start of February passed, with the overwhelming majority achieving a distinction.
Congratulations to all our Crescent School pupils who took the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) examinations at the start of February.
At Crescent School, our children study for the LAMDA examinations in their Drama lessons as part of the school’s curriculum. This year, Year 6 took the Speaking Verse and Prose Grade 1 or Grade 3 exams for communication.
They prepare poems to perform and on the day were judged on their interpretation, technique and knowledge. To help them get ready for their examinations they took part in a LAMDA showcase for their parents back in January.
Drama teacher, Lizzie Wolfenden, is extremely proud of them all. She said, “Everyone has done brilliantly, and I'm so pleased for them, and especially for the pupils who took the Grade 3 examination (pictured here). The LAMDA qualifications add value to the children’s learning in so many different ways. I am delighted with their results.”
A huge well done to everyone – we are very impressed by you all.
