Crescent School's U11 Girls Netball team had a super time at the ISA Midlands Tournament on Thursday 26 February.
The U11s enjoyed a well-contested day of netball at Ashley Manor Prep School in Cheltenham, competing in fresh and breezy conditions that did nothing to dampen their enthusiasm or team spirit. The girls played with grit, skill and growing confidence throughout the day, representing Crescent School superbly.
After the morning's group stage matches, Crescent finished fourth in the pool, sending the girls through to the top tier of the Cup knockout rounds – a fantastic achievement in a competitive field. In the quarter-final, the team faced the winners of Pool A, Ashley Manor A team. Despite a determined and courageous performance, the girls were unable to break through their well-drilled defence.
It was a brilliant team effort where every player contributed superbly throughout the tournament, growing in confidence and cohesion from game to game. The girls' teamwork, attitude and sportsmanship embodied the true Crescent spirit, and they should all be incredibly proud of their performances.
A wonderful day of netball - well done, girls!
