Crescent School Commemorates VE Day

On Thursday 8 May, the 80th Anniversary of VE Day, Crescent School remembered and celebrated all those who served during the Second World War.
In school, the day was marked with a special assembly and at break time the children all enjoyed a celebratory sponge cake.
Together, we gave thanks to the war-time generation, to those who fought on the frontlines, to those who stayed strong at home and especially to those who gave their tomorrow for our today.
