Crescent School Invaded By Anglo Saxons & Vikings

16 May

On Wednesday 14 May, Year 3 brought their history learning vividly to life in their drama production Anglo Saxons & Vikings

The children had all worked hard to learn their lines and songs and enjoyed telling the story of these invading tribes and the impact they had on early Britain. They delivered a fabulous performance to their parents that impressed us all.

Drama was a super way to engage the children in their history studies. Pupils embraced their characters enthusiastically and had great fun re-enacting key moments from the period. As well as providing a memorable experience, their performance developed a whole host of skills that can be applied across all areas of their learning.
