End Of Term Assembly Celebrates Pupils' Achievements
Crescent School held its End of Term Celebration Assembly on the last day of the school year. It was a chance to reflect on pupil achievements and a chance to celebrate their success.
Headmaster, Joe Thackway, thanked everyone for their hard work and shared memories of the year gone by reminding the children of all of the wonderful learning that has gone on.
Mrs Johnson was delighted to present the Green Team with certificates for all their hard work on sustainability this year. While Mr Adkins handed out awards for our champion typists. Mrs Webb presented pupils with Promise Certificates, Promise Badges and House Point certificates.
The announcement of the House Cup caused much excitement and our congratulations go to St George’s House who were the winners this year.
Then it was time for the main awards, recognising effort and diligence, contribution to school life and the excellence that abounds here at Crescent School.
We also presented three staff with long service awards, Mrs Webb, Mr Webb and Mrs Olner. Thank you to them for their commitment to our school. We said goodbye to our staff leavers, who were presented with gifts, our thanks and our very best wishes - Mrs Westlake, Miss Teasdale and Mr Adkins (Mrs Webb, Mr Thackway and Mrs Thackway had received their gifts on Monday).
Congratulations go to the award winners and well done also to every pupil for helping us have another excellent year here at Crescent School.
