The Crescent is a thriving co-educational independent day school for around 160 children aged 4 to 11 years, based in Bilton, Rugby. Tailoring learning to individual needs, we support all our pupils to achieve great things in a happy and caring environment.

A little school with big ambitions, our dedicated staff pride themselves on really knowing our pupils well and bringing out the very best in all of them. This philosophy applies in the classroom, on the sports field and in many extra-curricular pursuits, including music and drama. This breeds positivity and pupils achieve great things over the course of their Crescent school career.

We specialise in preparing children for their first choice of senior school. Many continue on to Princethorpe and we also enjoy a high degree of success in pupils gaining local grammar school places.

We also benefit from having an outstanding on-site partner nursery, Pathfinders.

COVID-19 Update – Crescent School Closed But Home Learning And Business Continues – April 2020

Crescent School is now closed for all but the children of parents’ whose work is critical to the COVID-19 response and who absolutely need to attend.

Our Home Learning Programmes will resume for those pupils who are working at home after the Easter holidays on Monday 20 April.

Our staff will be continuing to work remotely over the coming weeks, so we will still be able to respond to questions, calls and emails, should you need us.

Lots of key information can be found on our website here and we will continue to keep in touch via our e-newsletters -  the Courier and our social media - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

We will of course share other important information with you via email as required.

Thank you to all the parents who have sent in messages of support, thanks and appreciation over the last few weeks, they have been very gratefully received by our wonderful staff.

We wish all the pupils, parents, staff and wider Princethorpe Foundation community the very best over the coming weeks, please look after yourself and your families and make sure to strictly follow the government’s guidelines for social distancing and self-isolation if you do have symptoms.

We look forward to seeing you all again in more certain times.

With all best wishes.
